February 10-16, 2020

The beginning of the week was good. Lots of work for both of us. We finally took down the Christmas tree at work and took a group picture in the tree bag.

Thursday was my birthday and we started it out with the gifts I bought for myself a month ago  then went out for waffles. Paul made a surprise dinner reservation for us but we switched it to Saturday so we could go to dinner at Maddox with Mike and Wendy. They were so sweet to come up! Wendy finished making the Valentine's day quilt we worked on together and wanted to bring it up for my birthday! It was more work than I was anticipating and Wendy put her heart and soul into it. It is huge! And just as detailed and fun as the one she gave us for Christmas.

Friday we found out that Paul was accepted into Texas A&M and Baylor!!! They only had five open spots at Baylor and Paul got one of them! We are so excited!

It was also Valentine's day and I gave Paul a little dinosaur in a mug that says, "you are dino-mite!" And then I went to work and came home to a princess bear, a baby Yoda poster, beautiful roses, and a sweet note  we then went to dinner at Olive Garden because I got a coupon for a free appetizer. Paul got us on the list online and we only had to wait 5 minutes to get a table! My coworker, Kristin, was there with her husband and they were still waiting for a table when we left! It was so busy. Then we went up to campus and did a little double date with Adam and Sanora. We went to the USU women's gymnastics meet. It was really cool!

Saturday we went swimming for an hour before helping my coworker, Alison, move into her new house. We could only stay a couple of hours but we got a ton of her furniture loaded up. Paul then went to work and I cleaned our much neglected apartment. After work, we went to Kabuki and had dinner and a show! They cooked it in front of us and it was so fun! The food was really delicious too!

Sunday was chill. We went to stake conference and then for a walk.

Happy birthday to Brianna! Also, thank you Brianna, Grandma Terry, Wendy, Paul, Aunt Kristin, and Grandpa Reed for the thoughtful gifts ️

Love you all!

Adam  was called down during the game to do an activity during one of the breaks.
