This week was really fun! Monday was President's Day so Paul and I did not have to go to school or work, which was awesome. We had a chill day and went to the movies in the afternoon. We saw 1917, the WWI movie that won a few Oscars this year. Paul and I really liked it! There are not a lot of WWI movies. This one was really tastefully done though. I would totally recommend it!

Tuesday, I walked into work to my coworkers singing happy birthday to me. I was like...You guys already sang to me last week! But I get to my desk and there is a big present sitting there. They got me a stand mixer! It was so nice! As soon as I got home I opened it and made Whitney's sweet milk bread recipe! It made a couple loaves, so I took one to work on Wednesday to say thank you to the ladies for getting the mixer for me.

Friday I was so tired after a long 4 day work week that Paul and I just stayed in and watched movies. I showed Paul "That Darn Cat." Which is an old Disney movie we watched growing up. He really liked it! and I remembered how much I liked it! It is a good throwback.

Saturday we had waffles and cleaned. Paul wanted to finish taxes, which we thought would just take a second but ended up taking a while...and a lot of our sanity...So by the time we were done with that, the pool was closed so we couldn't go swimming. And Paul decided that was enough work for the day, so he got his Saturday shift covered and we drove down to Salt Lake in the afternoon. We went to dinner with Paul's parents before heading to their ward activity. Andy and Emily participated in the talent show and both did awesome! Wendy and I did a little sewing before heading over to my parents house for the night. We talked with Jacob and Brianna until about 10:30 then went to bed.
Sunday I helped Mom put together a caprese appetizer before getting ready for church. Amelia did a great job on her talk! We're happy to have her home and glad she had a good experience serving in Argentina. After church we visited with cousins and friends. Grazia and Pedro stayed later and made fried rice for us for dinner. They are so lovely and the food was delicious! Also, thank you to Amelia, Eliza, and Mom for your thoughtful gifts for my birthday. Love you guys! Paul and I stayed a little later to meet Bennett, Eliza's "friend". We played jackbox.tv games downstairs before heading back to Logan.

Hope you all had a good week as well. Love you!
