What a fun week! We celebrated Cinco de Mayo on Tuesday at work. I brought some chips and salsa. Thursday, I went to the fabric store with Maria and Kristin and they picked out fabric for me to make face masks for them and their families. I sewed those in the evening before Paul and I went for a walk and found a very pretty tree and lighted path. I also made some brownies to take to the Roberts for Mother's Day.
Friday we drove down to St George but stopped by Mike and Wendy's on the way down. We had lunch and I finished embellishing my Halloween quilt. I enjoyed showing it off and we gathered for Mother's Day fun. Hannah made a delicious Strawberry pie for Elaine. We got to St. George at 11:30 and pretty much went straight to bed when we got there. Saturday we played tennis, pickle ball, basketball, ultimate frisbee, went swimming and had a barbecue. Paul got a black eye playing basketball but he likes looking like a tough guy.
Sunday we took family pictures at the park. We got a picture with everyone and then did pictures of individual families and a siblings shot. Everyone looked stunning. We got home and did a little home church. Thanks to Dad for preparing a lesson for us. Afterwards, Eliza and I made sliders for lunch. We cleaned up and headed to the park for some frisbee, basketball, and pickle ball. We played catch phrase for some last minute fun before we headed back to Logan.
We stopped by Mike and Wendy's again on the way home just for a half hour. Wendy was so cute and got me a walking foot to do my own binding in Logan. After checking in, we drove the rest of the way to Logan and went straight to bed. We were exhausted after an action packed weekend.
Love you all!
