This week was good. Paul was able to focus on his coursework more this week since he finished his lab rotation last week. He will be done this next week and able to relax until after Christmas when he starts his new rotation. Work has been good. One of my coworkers is out, so I have been a lot busier, picking up some of her tasks that are due. It has been a great learning experience.  Saturday we got together with my ministering sister and her husband. Her husband has lived in Texas for 7 years and loves it here, so he was excited to tell us all the fun things to do here. We went to Grapevine, TX to see Christmas lights. It was about 15 minutes away and really cute. We're excited to hang out with them more. Congratulations to Matt and Hannah on welcoming a healthy baby girl into their family on Wednesday. We're very excited for them. Happy birthday to Dad and James this coming week. Love you all!

This week was really good. It was a fast week at work and it was Paul's last week of rotations for this semester. We celebrated on Friday by getting pizza from Grimaldi's. Saturday we did some shopping at the mall looking for gifts for my coworkers. The mall down the street from us has the largest indoor Christmas tree in the country.  Pretty crazy! Sunday we went to a choir concert and we were impressed by the talent of the performers. It was in a baptist church but it didn't get too much for us until the last song haha. We wanted to make sure we went to a Christmas Choir performance as it is one of our favorite traditions.

This week was a lot of fun but it was busy meeting deadlines at work and getting stockings mailed in the first half of the week. Paul went into lab every day this week except for Thanksgiving. He's feeling very motivated to work on his project. Thanksgiving day we cooked up our little dinner and put up Christmas decorations while watching movies. Later that night we played games through zoom with the Roberts. Sunday, Paul and I spoke in church. It was good because we had a few members come introduce themselves to us, text us, and my ministering sister came over during the Christensen zoom call to deliver cookies and introduce herself. I am excited to make friends at church.  We hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. Love you! My talk from Sunday: Good morning brothers and sisters.  My name is Sarah Roberts.  My husband, Paul, and I recently moved to Dallas over the summer.  We are originally from Salt Lake City, Utah where we both grew up but we did not meet until after our missio

This week was pretty good. I mailed Peter his little stockings and he got them this week.  I did lots of sewing and got Wendy’s order all done! I’m excited about that.  We went grocery shopping for thanksgiving and I couldn’t wait to make the pie (it’s better the longer it’s in the fridge) I made it Sunday night.  Saturday I went Christmas decor shopping with my friend, Liz. She got all her tree ornaments and she put together her tree on Sunday. I got some ornaments, an advent calendar and a little sleigh. I made some ornaments on Sunday. We can’t wait to decorate for Christmas! Hope you all had a good week. It was fun visiting on Sunday with the Christensen’s.  Love you!

This week was good. I was able to mail mom's stockings on Monday then start on Peter's. I finished his by the end of the week, so that was good. They turned out so cute and tiny! My coworker, Liz, told me about this overstock store that has all these Christmas trees and how she got a $150 one for $30 and I was like..heck yeah! I am totally going to check it out. Paul humored me and we went together on Thursday. It was kind of gross and disorganized and there weren't a lot of personnel around but we did find a tree that was originally $260 and we got it for $50! It was totally unopened and I love it! Paul found it too, I'm so glad he was willing to come with me. The weekend I sewed a ton and got started on Wendy's order and made some Thanksgiving napkins. Paul worked hard in lab and got to start his own project! It is very exciting and he is learning a lot. We love you all!

This week was good. Saturday I went to Hannah Roberts' baby shower, virtually. It was really fun!  Then I finished sewing the stockings for the Christensen's.  Sunday we went on a pretty fall walk and had a zoom call with the Christensen's. Paul is enjoying his new lab and getting to know more people. Happy Birthday to Rachel and Hannah this week!

This week we got a lot done. Monday morning we got our cars registered in Texas (finally!)  Tuesday, Amelia facetimed me. It was nice to catch up! I miss having conversations with my siblings regularly.  Wednesday we watched Sam and Emily's band performance. They did a great job!  Thursday we went out to dinner for Paul's birthday. It was pretty relaxed. Thank you for sending your cards and gifts for him. We really appreciate it! Friday, I dressed up for work as a scarecrow and Liz dressed up as Dolly Parton. Paul had a barbecue with his lab on Friday because his mentor is going on a two week leave with the army. He had a lot of fun getting to know more people. He got home later, so I went to vote after work while he was gone.  Saturday I got the first 4 stockings sent out! They turned out great, which I am really happy about. We celebrated Halloween with pizza and a scary movie. It was a good week! We hope you all had a fun week too :) Love you!
